David Rosales Stardust Butterfly Pendant with Turquoise and Opal Inlay

This David Rosales Stardust Butterfly Pendant is a bold, beautifully detailed piece that truly stands out. Measuring approximately 2.5 inches wide and 1.75 inches tall from the tip of the antenna to the bottom of the wings, it has a strong presence while still feeling refined and wearable.

The body of the butterfly showcases the vibrant Stardust color collection, an inlay combination of Kingman turquoise, Picasso opal, white and purple cultured opal, and black jade. Each stone is precisely cut and hand set into a mosaic pattern that gives the center of the butterfly depth, color, and movement. The bright turquoise at the top draws your eye immediately, while the layered inlay below adds contrast and intricate detail.

The sterling silver wings are designed with graceful cutouts that keep the piece light and airy despite its size. Subtle oxidized accents highlight the curves and circular details along the wings, giving the silver dimension and character. Even the tiny antenna at the top add charm and playfulness. On the back, there is both a loop for a chain and a pin, allowing you to wear it as either a pendant or a brooch. The chain loop is fairly small, but can be opened to hook on a chain.

David Rosales is based in Gallup, New Mexico, where he works with highly skilled Native American jewelry artists to bring his designs to life. Each color collection is carefully developed, and Stardust is a favorite for its vibrant tones and intricate layout. It is a collection that truly shines in larger statement pieces like this butterfly.

Please note that the chain shown in the photo is not included.

Each piece of David Rosales jewelry is made to order. Because of the time, precision, and craftsmanship involved in creating the inlay and silverwork, this pendant will require approximately six weeks to complete once your order is placed.
